Privacy Policy for GuideBy's App

GuideBy is a travel planning app that creates AI-generated itineraries and audio guides. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and your choices.
GuideBy does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. The app is fully anonymous.
All trip data you create (destinations, itineraries, preferences) is stored locally on your device using an on-device database. This data is never uploaded to our servers. You can delete your trips at any time from within the app, and uninstalling the app removes all stored data.
To generate travel itineraries and display images and maps, the app sends limited data to the following third-party services:

No personally identifiable information is included in these requests. The data sent consists solely of the travel parameters you provide when creating a trip.

The app may request access to your device’s location to help suggest nearby destinations. This permission is optional — you can deny it and manually enter your destination instead. Location data is used on-device only and is not sent to any server (other than coordinates used for map display as described above).
GuideBy does not include any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising frameworks, or tracking technologies. We do not collect usage statistics or behavioral data.
The app requires an internet connection to generate itineraries (via AI services) and to load destination images. No data is transmitted beyond what is described in the third-party services section above.
GuideBy does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since the app does not collect personal information from any user, it is suitable for general audiences.
Since all user data is stored locally on your device, its security is governed by your device’s own security measures (screen lock, encryption, etc.). Data transmitted to third-party services is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
